IELCAP is a pioneer in lung cancer screening worldwide with more than 15 years of experience in the field. IELCAP is an international effort led by Mt Sinai Medical Center in New York city involving more than 60 centers all over the world. More than 70,000 volunteers have participated in IELCAP lung cancer screening programs in the US, China, Japan, Israel, Canada, Italy and Spain. Seventy-five percent of screening detected lung cancers using the IELCAP consensus protocol are in stage I and long term survival is greater than 80%.
